Procrastinators, rejoice! Amazon has announced this year's shipping cutoff dates for holiday shopping, and Prime members will be pleased to learn that they can purchase products all the way up until December 24 and still receive them in time for Christmas Day.
Amazon confirmed that Prime free same day delivery and free two-hour online gift delivery with Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods Market will be available on Christmas Gifts Eve in select areas. Prime members also have access to free one-day delivery with no minimum purchase through December 23.
Still, shopping sooner rather than later ensures that you get the exact color, model, styles, etc. that you're after, so if you can avoid waiting until the last minute, you should. And take note: Not all delivery speeds are available for all products in all regions, and order minimums and cutoff times may apply. Head over to Amazon for more information about holiday shipping, and see below for the full list of shipping deadlines.
December 14: Last day to order and get free delivery on orders over $25, free for all customers
December 18: Last day to order items eligible for standard shipping, free for Prime members
December 22: Last day to order tens of millions of items, free for Prime members
December 23: Last day to order more than 10 million items eligible for one-day delivery (coast to coast, free for Prime members with no minimum purchase) or midnight gift delivery or midnight cakes
December 24: Last day to order millions of items eligible for same-day delivery (free for Prime members in eligible areas on orders over $35, order by 9:30 a.m. local time)
December 24: Last chance for free two-hour grocery delivery, reserved exclusively for Prime members in select cities. Order by 5 p.m. local time (3 p.m. in select locations) for Whole Foods Market and 8 p.m. local time for Amazon Fresh
